Doot like many young drummers began his playing career doing gigs around Belfast with local rock and funk bands,sometimes two or three at a time.

Between working on local projects Doot would head of to Germany,Switzerland and his native homeland Holland to tour with other well known european artists.It was during this time that Doot developed his individual style of playing and unique showmanship which sets him apart other drummers. It was on one such tour of Holland that Doot got the all important call from CT entertainment offering him the chance to play in the Untouchables. And the rest as they say is history.
